Does anyone else hate Christmas?
I don't hate the idea of Christmas or the actual celebration of Christ's birth...but I do hate shopping and the ridiculous idea of buying presents for everyone. I do give gifts to people and I consider myself generous but evertime I step into a mall or grocery store around Christmas time I just want to scream and cry. Whatever happened to giving your loved ones an orange in their stocking? And spending time with your family as the biggest present at Christmas? Not that the people I have to buy for are demanding extravagent gifts or anything but I just hate shopping for others. Does that make me a horrible, selfish person? Probably and I'm okay with that. Perhaps once I have children I will like this holiday better...but right now I just feel adrift in a sea of comericalism, greed, and stress. Ack! Someone toss me a lifejacket!

Christmas sucks, but it's giving me a three day weekend so I'm hesitant to completely badmouth it.
As for my present, feel free to deliver my pony after lunch on Friday.
