After Cindy said she wanted to bring someone she started yelling at her husband to come with her. And thus escalting her anger.
The very last line, was Cindy screaming incoherently into the phone at me.

You, being the sane person, must put an end to this. Go to the pastor (I bet he/she will know exactly what you are talking about). Find out the suggestions for dealing with this situation. Eat crow in front of Cindy. Then, chalk it up to a crazy person and enjoy your choir!
