Yesterday we were all cursing our district for not closing as we dug our cars and helped each other push them out of the parking lot. Today, they graciously gave us a snow day and a 3-day weekend (I'm sure that was their plan all along...ha ha). But it certainly was warranted. At last count (and the snow is still falling) we had about 15 inches of snow on the ground and the piles of shoveled show are HUGE. I just got back in from shoveling my car out of the parking space. I love the snow! We have not had a good snow in MN in a very long time, so I am totally excited for it. Now if only I knew a good place to rent and go cross country skiing. I would like to thank you, Paul, for helping with the effort to make sure all roadways and sidewalks were free of snow before I returned from the Caribbean.
