Sub-Finder? Where are you?!?

last night I didn't get much sleep. Kept waking up every hour as a sore throat got worse and worse. At about 2:30am I decided enough was enough...I ain't goin' to work today. So I pick up the phone and dial the district's automated sub finder system. NO ANSWER. I though it was a mistake brought on by my sleepy haze and nyquil. so I checked the number and dialed again. Still no answer. So now what I got to do is go into the office, boot up the computer login to the web interface and type in stuff. It sucked. A task that should have taken 2 minutes ended up taking 15. Thank god I can steal fast internet from the neighbors (yeah, yeah, I'm working on getting my own connection) otherwise I might be at work right now trying to teach with the mother of all sore throats and ear infections.

So my question still lingers...Sub-finder, where are you?

clearly, someone hasn't heard about the guy in FL who got federally prosecuted for stealing wireless...hmmm, I wonder if I get a finder's fee?
